Blender Bev Day 7

Super immunity!

Wow!  I honestly feel …fine.  I don’t have a sore throat and I’m not tired.  I have a little sinus pressure, but basically I feel quite normal.  I did not take any medications.  I ate beautiful whole food, drank my one blender beverage a day and plenty of water.  In addition I drank one cup of warm Chyawanprash.  This is a wonderful Ayurvedic herbal tonic with a jelly like consistency.  Chyawanprash is necessary in my home with four kids and multitudes of germs.  Besides the herbal tonic, I do believe the blender bev provided an extra boost to my immune system.

The drink today is similar to the others with a few variations.  There is more texture to this beverage because of the raspberries.    I want to reiterate the point that you do not need to have a special blender recipe book (although they are wonderful if you do possess one) to create nutrient dense smoothies in your home.  All you need are some greens &/or veggies, fruit and good water to create a delicious drink full of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients that work in synergy to nourish every cell in your body.

  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • Handful of spinach
  • 2 large Kale leaves
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 carrot
  • A few mint leaves
  • Filtered water

I may decide to make this a life long habit!
