Today I had a zillion things to do…
so I was so grateful that whipping up a quick drink wouldn’t cut into the time I needed to stay on task. For those that think running to a fast food joint is a quick fix…you are definitely wrong. Honestly it takes no more than 10 minutes from the time you select the ingredients to the moment you taste the nutritious goodness. Choose this option whenever you are in a hurry and need to get on the road quickly. It is much quicker than driving to that burger place, waiting in line and then gorging with no thought as to where the “food” came from. You can blend up a drink in minutes and sip on it in the car. I promise you with 100% truth – your body will thank you.
- 1 Pear
- 2 Kale leaves
- Handful of Dandelion leaves
- 1 large carrot
- 1/2 Cucumber
- Few Parsley sprigs
- Splash of aloe vera
- Coconut water
- Filtered water
This drink was refreshing and easy to drink. I have really become fond of Pear in my smoothies. I haven’t forgotten my questions from Day 8:
- Drinking the beverage near dinner did not keep me up or make it difficult to go to sleep. In fact, I think I slept better (if that can be possible.)
- I did not really feel hungry at dinner, but I did have a little bit of the meal with my family. Dinnertime is a special time that we can all be together. I ate a small portion so that I could have that connection with my family.
