I snapped this photo while my daughter was watching TV, in a moment when my heart was caught between noticing what a beautiful girl she is growing up to be and the remnants of childhood innocence. She is so sweet, qwirky and fun like any tween. Totally oblivious to the raw world around her, she navigates life with a tunneled mix of tranquility and melodrama. I love watching the budding juvenescence, but want to preserve this moment forever. Maybe, one day, there will come a time when she will be overwhelmingly stagnate in a moment with her own daughter. Isn’t it beautiful that this cycle is replicated all over the world? I pause, breathe and smile.
Yes. And time flies by way too fast. Great post.
